Praha hostí evropskou kvalifikaci pro juniorské mistrovství světa v curlingu:

český tým juniorů usiluje o postup. Opět po roce bude specializovaná curlingová hala v Praze-Roztylech svědkem kvalifikačních bojů nejlepších mladých hráčů a hráček curlingu o postup na juniorské mistrovství světa. Druhého nejdůležitějšího podniku světového juniorského curlingu se zúčastní 10 týmů dívek a 14 týmů chlapců z celé Evropy. Mezi nimi i tým českých juniorů, který jistě v hledišti podpoří i tým českých reprezentantek, které si účast na mistrovství světa zajistily dobrým umístěním na minulém šampionátu.
Specializovaná hala v Praze-Roztylech, která poskytuje kvalitní zázemí na úrovni evropských standardů, bude jistě svědkem kvalitních a napínavých utkání. Na mistrovství světa se totiž kvalifikuje pouze jedno nejlepší družstvo z každé kategorie. K největším favoritům mezi juniory patří vedle domácího týmu Rusové, Holanďané a Němci, mezi juniorkami pak Dánky, Němky a Italky.
Od pondělí 3. ledna do pátku 7. ledna se budou hrát zápasy ve skupinách, v sobotu 8. ledna vyvrcholí turnaj semifinálovými a finálovými boji.

Prague hosts European Junior Curling Challenge for the World Junior Curling Championship:

Czech junior team aim to qualify Once again specialised curling rink in Prague-Roztyly will witness qualifying struggle of the best young curling players for the qualification to the World Junior Curling Championship. 10 girl teams and 14 boy teams from across Europe will take part in the second most important event of the world junior curling. Among those teams is the Czech boy team, which will enjoy the support of Czech girl team, which has already secured their place at the Worlds by good ranking at the last World Junior Curling Championship.
Specialised curling rink in Prague-Roztyly, which provides quality facilities of European standard, will surely witness excellent and thrilling matches. Only the best team from each category will qualify for the WJCC. Among the biggest boy team favourites belong, besides the home team, Russia, Netherlands and Germany and among the girl teams Denmark, Germany and Italy. From Monday 3rd January to Friday 9th January the round robin matches will be played, and on Saturday 8th January the tournament will culminate with the semi-finals and the final.
